Boiler Installation

Boiler replacement and installation planning with attention to the existing heating system, controls, hot-water requirements and the practical work needed around the appliance.

What we can help with

Boiler installation and replacement

Boiler replacement

Replacement planning where an existing boiler is unreliable, obsolete or no longer economical to repair.

System assessment

Review of the existing heating layout, controls and hot-water arrangement before choosing the replacement.

Controls

Consideration of suitable heating controls rather than treating the boiler as a stand-alone appliance.

Pipework alterations

Assessment of the practical pipework and condensate changes that may be needed for the new appliance.

System preparation

Advice on system cleanliness, filters and any remedial work needed before the new boiler is commissioned.

Handover

Clear explanation of the new controls and normal operation once the installation is complete.

How we approach it

Choose the boiler around the property, not just the old model number

A like-for-like physical replacement is not always the best technical replacement. We consider the heating demand, hot-water arrangement, controls, flue position and condition of the existing system before the final specification. Gas work is completed by Gas Safe registered engineers.

Local coverage

Service across Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire

LDM Group UK covers Farnborough, Frimley, Camberley, Aldershot, Fleet, Farnham and surrounding areas. Availability depends on the type and location of the job.

Questions

Boiler Installation FAQs

Can you replace my boiler with a different make or model?

Yes, where the proposed appliance suits the property and installation. The final choice should be based on the system rather than only matching the old casing size.

Will my radiators need replacing with a new boiler?

Not automatically. Existing radiators can often remain, but their condition, output and the wider system should be assessed.

Do you install the controls at the same time?

Where appropriate, yes. Boiler replacement is a sensible time to make sure the control strategy is suitable rather than leaving an outdated control setup in place.
