Leak repairs and water leak fault finding
Help with leaking pipes, dripping joints, valves and visible water leaks in homes and small businesses across Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire. We’ll assess where the water is coming from, explain the repair options and deal with the plumbing fault where practical.
Plumbing leaks we can investigate
Not every leak starts with a burst pipe. Water can appear some distance from the actual fault, so finding the source is often the first job.
Leaking pipework
Leaks from visible copper or plastic pipework, joints and fittings.
Dripping valves
Leaks around isolation valves, service valves and other plumbing connections.
Toilet leaks
Water leaking from cisterns, inlet valves, flush connections or around the toilet.
Tap and basin leaks
Leaks beneath sinks and basins, around tap tails, wastes and traps.
Shower leaks
Plumbing-related leaks from shower valves, feeds, wastes and accessible connections.
Unclear water leaks
Fault finding where damp or water is visible but the source is not immediately obvious.
Find the source before choosing the repair
A visible drip is straightforward; a hidden or intermittent leak can take more investigation. We start with the accessible plumbing and the evidence around the leak before recommending disruptive work.
If access is likely to require lifting flooring, opening a boxed section or removing finishes, we’ll explain that before proceeding wherever possible.
When a leak needs urgent attention
Some leaks can wait for a normal appointment; others can damage the property quickly. If water is flowing heavily or cannot be isolated, call rather than relying on the form.
Active or worsening leak
Call if water is actively escaping, spreading or affecting ceilings, floors or fittings.
Leak near electrics
Keep clear of affected electrical fittings and arrange urgent help.
Cannot isolate the water
If the leak cannot be controlled with an accessible stop valve, call for advice.
Slow or intermittent leak
A small recurring leak is still worth investigating before it causes hidden damage.

Leak repair FAQs
Can you find a leak if the pipe is hidden?
We can investigate the likely source from the symptoms and accessible plumbing. If the fault is concealed, we’ll explain what access or further investigation may be needed before opening finishes.
Should I turn the water off before you arrive?
If the leak is significant and you can safely reach the correct stop valve, isolating the supply can reduce damage. If you are unsure which valve to use, call us.
Do you repair small leaks as well as emergencies?
Yes. Leak repairs can be booked as normal plumbing work; urgent uncontrolled leaks should be handled by phone so we can assess the situation quickly.
Can you repair the damage caused by the leak?
We deal with the plumbing fault itself. Any separate building, decorating or specialist drying work can be discussed once the source of the leak is under control.
